It is a farm of 44 hectares and a Farm Holiday with lodgings and restaurant.
La Pila is a modern farm of 44 hectares of land planted with
fruit trees grown using natural agricultural methods, mainly apples and pears but also kiwis, plums, apricots, peaches and a variety of other summer fruit, as well as rotating seed crops including wheat, barley, maize, soy, sugar beets, potatoes and more.

In the year 2000 we undertook our project for gradual restoration and conservation of the farm buildings aimed at opening a new farm holiday establishment, which has allowed us to restore the farmyard and the entire estate to the lifestyle that characterised it for almost three centuries.
We have renovated the tobacco drying rooms to create five rooms (for two or three people each, including two rooms accessible to the disabled) and two small standard mini-apartments (for four to five people each, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room and kitchen), other two deluxe apartments (on two floors, with refined furniture and best endowments, one for 2/3 people and one for 3/4 people) have been built in an old country house, while the old granaries have become living areas and storage rooms have been transformed into a spacious kitchen. The shed has become a lovely veranda.
La Pila farm holidays offers its many guests – most of whom come from abroad – bed and breakfast services andrestaurant at any time of year.

Even the farmyard has had a facelift: in the old walled-in garden known as the "brolo", between rows of kiwis, we have constructed a 7.5 x 15 metre swimming pool (with hydromassage), we have planted a little herb garden and a thriving vegetable plot, and we are now busy growing a rose garden and building also a barbecue corner. The ancient pigsties are transformed into service saloons and used also for kitchen courses, with a modern solar panels installation that it can be used for the water heating of bathrooms and pool.

And 2002 saw the renovation of the old La Pila house, once a rice husking mill and the original heart of the entire estate, to create three fully furnished apartments for short and medium term rentals.

A big garden, near the little watertight with weeping willows and hives of ours bees, is now a entertaining place where the children can play.

For those who love horses and ponies inside the farm is located the Pony Club "La Briciola", where Laura, instructor with many years of experience, will bring you into the fantastic world of equitation through horse walks (for the older ones) and pony games (for children).

All against the background, visible even at a distance, there is a spectacular row of ancient magnolia trees (Magnolia grandiflora), which surround the outdoor dining area.
